Book Recommendations: The Geography of Bliss

This book is an entertaining and amusing exploration of the idea of happiness. Over the course of a year, self-proclaimed grump, Eric Weiner, takes the reader to 10 countries to understand what makes people in different cultures happy. His book contains interesting insights into each country ranging from India to Switzerland and Iceland to Qatar.

The questions of a place affecting happiness is an interesting one – and got me to thinking about where I’ve been most happy. A beach in Costa Rica with a bunch of friends, getting lost in Rome with my sister, hiking in the mountains followed by a sushi dinner, running on a cool spring day pretty much anywhere…
